Do you enjoy being creative? Sunshine’s Art Studio is a great place for you to express your imagination!

The Art  Studio is part of our Community Access program. It is a dynamic, arts focus environment where you can explore your creativity and self-expression in a setting that’s inclusive, and educative, and where relationships with each other and the community are promoted.

You can attend the studios in small group sessions where you’ll be supported by arts professionals to experience and develop skills in a range of art forms. You may also have the opportunity to participate in Sunshine’s annual art exhibition.

The Art Studio offers painting, drawing, mixed media, computer generated art, ceramics, sculpture and photography.

The Paper Studio opens up a world of handmade paper where you have the opportunity to make 2-D and 3-D paper art, books and decorative papers, handmade cards and notepaper.

The Ceramics Studio is run by a skilled ceramicist who will help you to create amazing sculptures, bowls and other interesting artworks made with clay. You will also learn how to glaze your ceramics before having them fired in our onsite kiln.
Classes for Ceramics run Wednesday and Thursday from our Frenchs Forest site.

Our newly created Photography Club is for anyone interested in using a camera to take creative photographs. You will have the opportunity to go on photo-shoots where Sunshine’s art staff will assist you to capture interesting images in various destinations such as national parks, beaches and urban areas.
Classes for photography run the first Friday of every month at our Pymble site.

The Sunshine Art  Studio gives you the chance to learn new skills and have lots of fun at the same time!
