Recruitment Process
At Sunshine when you submit an application for a position you will go through a selection process as it is important to us to find the right fit for the people we support. The selection process consists of;
Resume Screening
Pre-screening over the phone
Group Assessment Session
Individual Interview
Reference Checking.

In the individual interview we expect you to bring your One Page Profile (A tool of person centred approach) – the guideline on how to write your One Page Profile can be found here.

The final stage of the recruitment process includes a Police Clearance Check, Drivers licence check and Visa check (If required). Your contract will be subject to successful checks.

 

Useful Tips
It is expected that all candidates attach a cover letter to their resume. We believe a good cover letter can set a candidate apart in a wide candidate pool.

 

How to write a cover letter?
We would like to see candidates’ stating why they are interested in the position and/or the company. It should also state how you believe your qualifications fit with the requirements of the role and how your past experience will add value. We are interested in reading about your passion for the industry, your desire to work for the company and the values and attributes you bring. It is important that you mention the specific job reference number of the role you are applying for.
